Every factual claim on harpd.com resolves to a registered dataset, a methodology page and a data timestamp. The same records are available as machine-readable JSON at/data/citations.json and/data/claims.json.

Why it matters

Answer engines and researchers increasingly quote publisher claims without a visible source. The registry makes every Harpd claim resolvable to a dataset, a method and a date, so a citation can be verified rather than taken on trust — what turns harpd.com into a citation-ready source instead of just another site with numbers on it.

Limitations

  • The registry reflects claims Harpd publishes on harpd.com; it does not cover claims made by third-party products listed on Harpd Rank.
  • A claim marked "blocked" is shown as not citable — its absence from the supported set is deliberate, not an oversight.
  • Verification dates are the date a claim was last checked against its dataset, not the date the underlying dataset was first published.
