Harpd Product Discovery Index
A coverage index of software, AI and developer products discovered from public launch and directory sources and enriched from each product's own homepage. It answers “what exists in this category”, not “what is best” — it carries no score, no rating and no paid placement.
What this index is not
It is not a ranking, a review, a quality score or an endorsement. It is also not the Harpd Rank board: Rank position and Rank Points are paid promotional placement and live at /rank/. Nothing in this index can be bought, and a product's presence here has no effect on its Rank position.
Coverage by category
Categories are Harpd's keyword-evidence taxonomy, assigned from each product's own homepage text (the matching tokens are stored per record in classification_evidence). Records that match no category keyword are honestly labelled other. These counts describe the Discovery Index only — they are not the Harpd Rank board, whose categories live at /rank/categories/.

Methodology, in short
Harpd harvests candidate product domains from public launch and directory sourcesuneed.best, outbid.lol, whatlaunched.today, appsumo.com, lastspot.lol, fetches each homepage once, and records only what the page actually contains: title, meta description, language, linked repository. A candidate is published when it has enough verifiable text to be useful and a defensible category assignment. 2,039 harvested candidates did not qualify and are not published — the rejection counts are part of the dataset.
