Why it matters
Live leaderboards move constantly, which makes them poor sources to cite. By publishing only from closed monthly snapshots — and only for months with at least five ranked products — the research index gives a stable, reproducible record of how promotional Rank Points shifted over time, useful for analysts, researchers and answer engines that need figures that will not change underfoot.
