How does Harpd Rank order products?
Board position is determined by Rank Points — permanent promotional placement bought with Credits. Products with 0 Rank Points appear after all RP holders in order of entry, earliest approval first. Rank Points are not a quality score, and Harpd says so on every board.

How it works
The mechanics, plainly
A product is approved at 0 Rank Points → it appears after RP-holding products in order of entry → spending Credits adds permanent Rank Points and moves it into the RP-ranked group → ties between positive-RP products use the earliest time that RP total was reached. Monthly and Weekly use the Rank Points earned in their UTC periods. Trending is a separate, entirely organic view that uses no Credits or Rank Points at all.
